SOMETHING IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN

Mogollon is an art collective founded by the duo artists Francisco Lopez and Monica Brand. The name also means ‘Plenty or Abundance’ in Spanish language.

They are presenting this show at Diesel Art Gallery in Tokyo, Japan until August 14th 2011.

I love when brands support creative stuff. ;D

Transparent Specimens

Japanese artist Iori Tomita turns preserved specimens into art. He uses a method that dissolves the animal natural proteins. Then, he highlights the delicate skeleton structure injecting different colored dyes into the bones to create a 3d effect. Without dyed color the structure would be translucent.
